One Will Lift You Up

Have you ever felt you just weren't not in the mood or to scared to have a spiritual conversation. Sometimes we all feel this way. That is why God's strategy has us go 2 by 2. Sometimes your partner will be strong sometimes you will. Sometimes you'll want to quit but they will want to keep going, the end result is a more fruitful harvest. Want an illustration I won't soon forget?

There we were standing on cement stairs. When my friend said, "I didn't speak much today Ive been low this week." I answered, "You were strong last week when I didn't want to speak. When Your week I'm strong and when Im week..." The cement step were I was standing gave way and I started to fall backwards to a 6 foot drop below. All my weight was going backwards so there was no hope of pulling my body up, gravity was already pulling me down. I only desperately look up into the eyes of my partner and hoped he would grap my reaching hand. He did and I was saved. If he was not there I would have fallen. Thus God illustrated to us this point. God's strategies are always best!

Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labour.For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow -- Ecclesiates 4:10

Road Side Encounters

Philip was a spirit filled sevant sent by God to an Ethiopian Eunich by the side of the road... I was on the freeway when my tire popped. Not by accident, another truck was broken down at that same spot. The man waiting helped me with my tire but the spare was flat too, Ahh. We had to walk into town to blow it up. I said, "God you know my heart is to share your love and your plan please help me." I have found that God really honors this simple prayer of dependence, and the courage came and the opportunity to share of God's love and forgiveness. I am overwhelmed with joy that God wants to use us if we are looking. Glory to God even for popped tires!

Dusted Feet

We are sent out with a message of love and forgiveness. Yet many times oure message isn't recieved. God has taught me that it's okay. Dusting my feet isn't a mean thing it just means that I not gonna try to force someone to believe something they don't want to. It is really a loving and kind thing. I also don't have to carry around the burden of their response but be a loving and faithful messenger. God you are sooooooo patient and kind. Thanks. Love you.

2 by 2

God wants me to go and go often. Fact is I usually don't. In my strength, I'm an introvert and lazy choosing the road of comfort and ease. God what is your answer for my weaknesses.

Two are stronger than one. There is a lot that opposes us. God's plan is that I would have a regular partner for this call. First, pray for a willing partner. Second, make a weekly commitmment to go out. This will keep us from abandoning the call when our flesh would rather chill in the house. When Im week my partner will be strong and vise-versa.


I prayed. And believe it or not my friend asked me to accompany him, wow. Our first day out, It was awesome to see how God put the 2 of us in the path of a man that was hurting and seeking. Glory to God. Also, I trully felt stronger with the 2 of us, the normal darts of the enemy didn't seem quit as strong. Glory to God, go 2 by 2. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
